I know a lot of you love transferware dishes as much as I do, so I'm thrilled to be able to offer this giveaway here! Nancy currently has over 500 pieces of vintage English transferware of all colors in her etsy shop -- pink/red, blue, green, black, brown, purple and polychrome, which is hand-painted color within the lines of the transfer, under the glaze. And that is only about 25% of her inventory! She also has a brick and mortar store in Oklahoma. So if you are searching for a particular pattern or color, feel free to email her (nancysellstransferware@gmail.com) or convo her through her etsy shop.

I have a new found love for transferware. I've been watching for some pieces in brown, so this would be a treat to win. I would pick the English Brown Transferware Pitcher Pastoral Country Church View Reverie if I happened to get lucky! Thanks for the great giveaway and for sending me such a fun etsy shop!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Thank you Mary and Nancy. I wondered through Nancy's Etsy shop making a list!!!!! I finally decided on these two ... the Antique Teal Green Transferware Teapot Adams Fairy Villas with Pagoda Sailboat Ornate Gardens and Circa 1891 Teal Transferware Teacup and Saucer Adams Staffordshire Fairy Villas. I knew it had to be tea related! I love teal and how could I pass up anything that was called Fairy Villas ... just magical!!!!!
ReplyDeleteEvery piece of transferware was exquisite, but I was quite taken with the Antique Green Transferware Tureen and Underplate Platter c1891 Grimwade Brothers so I would use the $50 GC to buy that piece if I won. Thanks, Mary! Nancy's blog and ETSY sites are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou know I only have one set of English Transferware and it's only a limited Edition 50th Anniversary set teacup/teapot set. I have really enjoyed it and now since I've been to Nancy's Daily Dish I have two pieces I's also like to have. One is Vintage BROWN TRANSFER WARE PLATE Waterfall ,http://www.etsy.com/listing/69478246/brown-polychrome-transferware-ironstone, and the other is Transfer cup and saucer basket of flowers polychrome, http://www.etsy.com/listing/66799055/vintage-english-brown-transferware-cup. This has been great fun!!! Thank you! Cathy
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful contest!
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely add a little to the pot and choose the Cheese tray and keeper http://www.etsy.com/listing/67733610/masons-vista-red-transferware-cheese
I've always wanted one of these to add to my collection.
I love all the brown transferware items, but I would love the Brown Transferware Teapot English Scenery Church Roses Boy on Horseback as my first choice. Thank you so much for this great giveaway and sending me to the etsy shop.
ReplyDeleteShe has some lovely items in her shop! I found something perfect for my home...Purple Lavender Transferware Serving Bowl Castles and Roses! Thank you! ♥
ReplyDeleteWow, hard decision. There are so many pretty things. I might pick Spode brown transferware since I'd like to eventually re-do my bedroom in brown toile. But, I am a blue willow snob and could also pick something to complement my blue willow dishes. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLove so many of Nancy's items...would love to win her Red Transferware English Sheep pitcher!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.etsy.com/listing/38180380/red-transferware-english-pitcher-sheep
Wonderful giveaway and thank you for the opportunity to enter! I love the transferware flower pots!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness--everything is so beautiful. I really love the Red Pitcher and Bowl in the Pastoral Country Church print...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway. I love her Blue Toile Transferware Platter Roses Bird Butterfly England
ReplyDeleteMeredith
I bought 4 of Nancy's vintage English ironstone in yellow and would love to have more pieces. And as much as I dearly love blue & white and red & white transferware, I also love the Spode yellow. Thanks, Mary and Nancy!
ReplyDeleteOh! I love teapots and am finally giving in to my long-time love of blue and white china. Nancy has such delicious items it's difficult to choose just one, but I am almost positive I'd happily settle on one of the lovely blue and white teapots and consider myself lucky indeed if I was to win.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
I am a newbie to transferware but I sure have the bug badly... can't stop looking at Nancy's Etsy shop or the blog! I am completely in love with several of Nancy's creamers... the fish, the hen and the blue allover floral cow...I imagine I would agonize til the end of the contest over which one to pick!! It would be my first transferware dish that isn't a plate or platter! tingryphon@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteMary, I always enjoy taking a look at Nancy's shop. I could be happy with any number of pieces, but I think I'd like to begin a group of the cow pitchers. Thanks for this great opportunity. ~ Sarah
ReplyDeleteMary
ReplyDeleteI love Nancy's shop and I would love to win the giveaway. I'm starting to collect blue and white transferware and I have two tea cups and two saucers. While looking at Nancy's shop I picked out a blue and white tea cup and saucer for $15.99.
Thanks
Betty @ My Cozy Corner
There are too many things I want so its hard to choose. I know I would get something in purple and maybe this cute little cow:
ReplyDeleteBlue Polychrome Transferware Charlotte Cow Creamer Pitcher England Staffordshire
Thank you for pointing me to Nancy's Etsy shop, it is delightful.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't imagine that her giveaway is open to international bloggers but if it were, I would choose the Myott "Bonnie Dundee" platter.
It would complement my Myott "Hunter" pieces beautifully.
oh wow! So many beautiful plates..
ReplyDeletei'd choose the Red Pink Vintage English Transferware Plate Shabby Roses and scrolls and the http://www.etsy.com/listing/56027290/pink-red-transferware-chantilly-roses 10 inch, or maybe the English Red Transferware Shabby Roses Square Plate...

What a fun shop!....I love the STAFFORDSHIRE RED TRANSFER WARE SQUARE CUBE TEAPOT.....smiles.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many beautiful items to choose from. My eye was particularly smitten with some of the brown transferware. I'd love the Fox Hunt Platter. Great Giveaway! Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteOh what a beautiful Etsy shop. There are so many things that caught my eye and I would probably change my mind several times, but the Teal Transferware Teacup and saucer really jumped out at me. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a fabulous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteJust poked around the pages at Nancy's shop and came right back to the first page - English Transferware Blue Biscuit Barrel is most definitely my choice. What a wonderful shop and what an awesome opportunity to win. Thanks from Judy C www.shadetreequilting.com
ReplyDeleteNancy has so many wonderful dishes! I have already purchased several pieces from her and now want to start a new collection. I just can't decide between red and purple transferware. Love the Romantic England pattern!
ReplyDeletePat
Thanks for the introduction to Nancy's shop! What a wonderful find. I had a fit over Flow Blue Transferware Antique Blue Willow Small Platter or Tray England http://www.etsy.com/listing/48043363/flow-blue-transferware-antique-blue
ReplyDeleteIt would be lovely with my Blue Willow everyday.
I can't stay out of Nancy's shop. I've just started collecting and I really want the two pieces of olive green and white ironstone she's got. Thanks!
ReplyDeletearmyscrapwife@gmail.com
What a great giveaway! I would be thrilled to win!I have ordered from Nancy before and she has such beautiful things! I'm in love with the Blue Toile transferware platter. I love the unique shape.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful collection of transferware! My favorite is the Alfred Meakin Vintage English Transferware Pitcher in Floral and Vine. Thank you for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Susan and Bentley
xxoo
I would have such a hard time deciding because I've had so many things in Nancy's shop marked as "favorites" for about a year now. But probably the blue biscuit barrel, or anything in the Charlotte pattern since that is my daughter's name!
ReplyDeleteThank you both for such a wonderful opportunity, and for the sale code!
Becky
I don't know if my email is linked, so I'll leave it just in case, farmschool (at) hmsinet (dot) ca. Thanks!
Oh My, How does one begin to choose? I think my choice would be VINTAGE CABBAGE ROSES & FLORAL BROWN TRANSFER WARE CREAMER / MILK PITCHER.
ReplyDeleteBut there are others I could choose. Thanks for sharing. Karie

I have been a keen collector of red transferware for a couple of years now and have recently really got into black.. The English pastorale just draws me in. I was blog shopping and saw several new pieces of interest in the black collections
ReplyDeleteI just got back from Nancy's shop and I took the full tour and wow, it is beautiful...a shop full of treasures...I love transferware too :)
ReplyDeletePlease enter me in the giveaway Mary...I'd love a chance to win it!
Big hugs,
Queenie
The reds or blues...oh my who could EVER pick ONE piece! I'd have to put it toward a whole collection...all of them are beautiful!!!
ReplyDeletethanks for the oppportunity!
Doni
Now this is my kind of give-away! What a fabulous shop. I have a set of red transferware so I would probably go for a beautiful red platter or pitcher. I would have a hard time choosing, but I would sure enjoy finding the perfect treasure:>) Thanks for offering this lovely opportunity!
ReplyDeleteWOW! They are all so beautiful! I would pick plates to display in my kitchen, I'm not sure which ones though... it would take a while to choose because they are all so amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful shop! I opened the site and fell in love with the Royal Worchester Black Transferware Figural Branch Handled Pitcher. I have a small collection of old/unusal pitchers and I would absolutely love to have this one.
ReplyDeleteCindy
How exciting! Thank you to both of you for this opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteI am loving the English Brown Transferware Pitcher Pastoral Country Church View Reverie.
What fun! I think I'd go for the Periwinkle/Lavender Asiatic Pheasant plate because I have one and the periwinkle color is hard to find. If I could have anything, I'd go for the brown floral chintz teapot, but it's a lot more than $50! Can you believe I inherited an entire set of Rose Chintz transferware including a teapot and serving pieces and gave it all away?! It was 1974 and I was into Scandinavian modern stoneware at the time. Kicked myself many times over since. Ah youth.
ReplyDeleteI discovered Nancy's Etsy shop a while back and have it listed as one of my favorites. Of course, the littleredhouse blog is on my Windows favorites bar.
ReplyDeleteThe Blue Polychrome Transferware Pitcher Charlotte Basket of Roses caught my attention. ;o)
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to win and also a big Texas thanks to both blogs.
Linda
Oh..this is hard but I think I would go with this pink geometric plate:

:)

I found this post through "Nancy's Daily Dish." It's VERY hard to choose, since there are so many beautiful pieces, but I think that the Clarice Cliff signed Jack in the Pulpit Vase Vintage Brown Transferware Tonquin is quite interesting. It's a strong contender, at least! Thanks for this chance to win!
ReplyDeleteHello Mary...Oh my. That was quite a place. I think I'd select the red transferware. Even though our kitchen is now blue and white, I could use it in the dining room, especially at Christmas. Such a magnificent site! Thanks. Can you put my name in the hat? Thanks. Susan
ReplyDeleteWow, I am overwhelmed by the choices! What a wonderful giveaway..I am drawn to the vintage brown pieces - I love them all!
ReplyDeleteI have been one of Nancys followers for awhile now.I love all her transferware and have told her that I would love a plate of lavender or purple.I am now one of your new followers. Please drop by and "meet me". Denise
ReplyDeleteI love Nancy's site and will add The Little Red House to my list of those frequented. I have friends who collect blue and red transferware and who convinced me to start on my own purple collection (not much convincing needed). I have many, many pieces and am always looking for "extras" and serving pieces to fill in. I am currently coveting the "English tureen/casserole" (Listing # 62465783) as a piece I would love to add to my collection.
ReplyDeletethere are so many wonderful things in her shop! I collect brown transferware...especially any with a bird on it...if she had that I would jump on it ....i also like the platter with insects...http://www.etsy.com/listing/37972626/aesthetic-brown-transferware-platter I would be very easy to please:)
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing me to Nancy's shop!
you have a lovely blog here, i just stumbled upon it and i must say, the products you have introduced to us via nancy's shop have an antique feel to it, and are yet so fresh. i live in south korea.looking forward to spring..and the flowers they use here as part of their ceramic ware is simple awesome. I am presently working on a blog marking out the motifs used in traditional korean pottery..and this site really helped in knowing what the others are doing. I love this particular transfer http://www.etsy.com/listing/66436213/unusual-flow-blue-english-transferware coz the english roses shown on it resemble the peoniesa lot and im simply crazy about peonies! thanks for introducing her to me. cheers!
ReplyDeleteI've loved reading and looking through your blog.
ReplyDeleteEven though it's like coals to Newcastle I'd love the Flow Blue Transferware Antique Square Butter Pat that Nancy has on sale at the moment, it's just so pretty :o)
Her collection is truly magnificent. I've been using Friendly Village as my daily china for twenty years, and have collected odds and ends since the early '80s. My taste tends to run mostly to red/pink, but I also love the soft browns. If I had to choose, I think the piece I'd most like to own is the Brown Transferware Flower Cache Planter Pot Pastoral Horse and Bridge Scene.
ReplyDeleteI would love ANY of her blue transferware!
ReplyDeleteKelly
Wow! What a great giveaway and an absolutely wonderful Etsy site. Mary, you are directly responsible for my purple Clarice Cliff Charlotte collection and the 12 red and white Spode Archive Collection plates that are now my Christmas dishes (thank you very much!). For years I've also been building a collection of Spode Woodland pieces, and since I have a Thoroughbred rescued from the race track I've been hunting for a horsey addition in brown transferware. I'm thinking the Wood and Sons vintage hunt scene plate would be perfect. Thanks for introducing us to Nancy and her gorgeous offerings.

ReplyDeleteGreat post and great blog! Love transferware and Nancy's has a gorgeous display in her shop. I plan on a trip to Tulsa soon! I would chose Masons Leeds Black transferware Gold Lustre plate.
ReplyDeletemarysmith31@cox.net
Wow... all so pretty! I collect pitchers so my favorites are the unusal colors like the purple or black or there is one blue with a darker blue ship on it. I love my pitchers filled with fresh flowers... sitting in groups... telling stories of another time and place!
ReplyDeleteI am THRILLED to have found this Etsy shop. What wonderful items. Without a doubt I'd want the Brown Transferware Flower Cache Planter Pot Pastoral Horse and Bridge Scene. That really calls my name.
ReplyDeleteI would choose the blue transfer ware tea pot on page 9 or the vintage red transfer ware wall display on page 17. All so pretty. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeletenbtay@sbcglobal.net
Oh my....can I just move in?????
ReplyDeleteI really need the wonderful big red and white bowl....I could use it on the hutch that my Dad built.
Many thanks for inviting me to enter :^)
